What's New with TXC!!!
The group group moves within the sounds of Hardcore Rap, with influences from the European Scene (Hijack, Gunshot) and also from the classic groups of similar style, such as Cypress Hill, House and WANG TANG CLAN. Their lyrics sometimes refer to personal experiences, and sometimes to sociopolitical commentary, without this meaning that TERROR X CREW are purely a "political" group. Also, apart from their music, the group makes up a team of graffiti artists, and it should olso be noted that DJ AL-X has done a remix for the English group Solsonic.

"Essetai Imar" all
Back in 1992, Artemis, Efthimis and DJ ALX created the first hardcore Hip-Hop band in Greece. TERROR-X-CREW rose to the top and they managed to create their own distinct sound -after experimenting with a series of ethnic sounds-, despite being criticized for importing a musical style from abroad. Their first, self-titled album (EP) helped the band in creating a fun club which suddenly tripled after the release of their first full-length album "I Polis Ealo", which became gold and it has been regarded as one of the best albums of the decade. The album also included a multimedia section; one of the first albums in Greece to include such a feature in an album. The CD singles "Min Fovasai" and "I Gefsi tou Menous" that followed the release of the first album were also very successful and they provided with evidence of what more was to come. Their second full-length album "I Gefsi tou Menous" sent the band to the top. A second gold record for the band, which became very successful and famous. In fact, they were also the band that opened up the show for THE PRODIGY in the annual Rockwave Festival that took place in Athens. With the new millenium, TXC release the CD single "Ksipnioi Mesa Sta Oneira Kapoion Allon", which was also very successful and it made the fans more eager for the band's follow-up to the big success of their second album. During the Easter period of 2001, TXC released their new album "Essetai Imar". Their third album was truly very different from everything that anyone could have expected. Their music was quite similar to their previous albums, but the lyrics and the entire production made this album different from all of their previous works. The album is clearly influenced by Greek traditional music, which however is cleverly combined with a number of funky loops and bit beats that result in something truly unique. Also, it must be mentioned that a couple of the tracks of the album have lyrics that are written in Ancient Greek, but Artemis and Efthimis are such extraordinary rappers and performers that in the end, the entire album is just e x c e p t I o n a l.
